Bastian’s style combines his passion for street culture, photography, rap, skateboarding and music & fashion videos, together with his unique intuition to capture serendipitous moments.
His story can be traced back to the skateboarding scene, which inspired in him an early desire to pick up a camera and a subsequent decision to enroll in film school.
Once he completed his degree, he left his hometown of Santiago, Chile, to pursue furtherstudies in Barcelona, an experience that was the stepping stone that encouraged him to go out and see more of the world. Trips across Asia, Europe, South America, and North Africa exposed him to new realities and cultures, influencing the themes that he portrays in his work.
All of the foregoing, have contributed to a well-rounded and broadminded vision, and a keen storyteller’s eye, which makes Bastian a valuable addition to any film set.
